Swim lessons will be week- long sessions running from 7/8/24-8/8/24. Swim lessons will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Summer Art Programs
We will be offering two art camps led by Lansing Middle School Art teacher, Mrs. Lee Iannone. She will be teaching a Beginning Sculpture Program and an Introduction to Glass Arts Program.
Introduction to Glass Art
Explore the wonderful world of glass art! Experiment with Pebeo Vitrea Glass Paint, make a mosaic, and create original stained glass art. This program is for children 13 and older.

When: July 8th-12th
Time: 1-4pm
Beginning Sculpture:
Join Mrs. Iannone and learn to create 3-Dimensional works of art. Projects include Oaxacan Spirit Animals from the Folk Art of Oaxaca Mexico, wire sculptures and kinetic stabiles based on Alexander Calder's incredible works of art. This programs is for rising 3rd through 5th graders.

Girls on the Run in So Much Fun!
AND... We need volunteers to Run
Girls on the Run is a body-positive and social-emotionally aware program that encourages moving Forward through running, walking, and lessons
What: 10 week program beginning the week of March 25th, 2024.
When: Meeting Mondays and Fridays from 3:30-5pm.
Where: Lansing Community Center and Town Ball fields
Program ends in a 5K: Twilight 5K in Ithaca, NY.

Scholarship Information
- Scholarships are available to Town of Lansing residents ONLY who meet necessary requirements. Awarded scholarships may cover 50%, 75%, or 95% based on household income and size.
- Scholarships could be awarded up to $400 per household member per year while funds are available. ***Scholarships cannot be applied to adult programs, camping/pavilion rentals, late fees, equipment, or before/after camp care for any programs.
- Scholarship applications are accepted year-round however, submission of an application does not automatically guarantee you funds or registration into programs. The Parks and Recreation Department will follow up within 3 business days of your submission regarding your application status. You MUST include the two most recent paystubs for all adult household members.
PLEASE NOTE: Once scholarship applications are approved, you will need to call the Parks and Recreation office at 607-533-7388 to complete your child's program registrations. Any remaining balances not covered by scholarship funds will be due at the time of registration in order to be completed.
