Conservation Licenses (Hunting & Fishing)

• We accept cash, checks or credit cards.
• Residents must provide a valid NYS driver's license or other proof of residency for both fishing and hunting licenses.
• Training courses or proof of prior license required for all hunting licenses.
• Minors under the age of 16 may fish without a fishing license.
• Booklets and other helpful information available at the Lansing Town Clerk's office, or online through the DEC.

Beginning with the 2024-2025 hunting license year, DEC is transitioning from special license stock (Valeron) to plain paper licenses and tags.
